Gayle has a Bach. App Sc. in Applied Geology. She is the founder and manager/director of Blacklaws Drilling, established 2005. She has more than 15 years experience as an exploration Geologist throughout Australia, with the last five years in Central Victoria.

Richard Brydon

Senior Driller/Onsite supervisor

Richard has more than 17 years experience in the drilling industry and has been with Blacklaws Drilling since 2012. Richard has extensive experience working in remote areas such as the Pilbara, Simpson Desert, Great Sandy Desert and throughout regional Queensland and the Northern Territory. In addition to conducting drilling operations under remote conditions, Richard’s knowledge and experience in safe work procedures has developed from time spent on numerous mine sites for clients like BHP, Xtrata and Iluka. Richard’s expertise encompasses diamond drilling, RC/conventional hammer drilling, rotary mud drilling, air core and blade drilling. His ability to both operate and coordinate a drilling program, without compromising on safety and procedural requirements, promotes a high quality relationship with clients at all stages of a job from start to completion.

Rachelle McIntosh


Rachelle has been with Blacklaws Drilling since 2011. She helps manage the administrative side of Blacklaws Drilling and draws on previous office experience in both the public and private sectors.
